Blue Note Burlesque

A burlesque revue built around the idea of a musical wrong turn, Blue Note Burlesque brings vintage tease and variety performance to the intimate setting of Sid Gold's Request Room. The DMVariety production takes its name from the blue note, a sound that bends expectations, and applies that same spirit to a lineup of playful, theatrical acts. The evening features performers including Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey alum Jim Dandy, burlesque artist Delilah Dentata, and guest artists Luna Rei, Orpheus Rose, and Pepper Palomino. Set inside the Washington, DC piano bar, the show pairs classic cabaret atmosphere with a mischievous edge, then hands the room over to Sid Gold's signature piano karaoke after the curtain falls.
