A nightclub experience compressed into the hours before bedtime, DAYSHIFT brings the energy of a late-night dance floor to a daytime crowd. Designed for the 30+ generation, the Washington, DC edition transforms The Howard Theatre into a space of throwback anthems, DJs, dancers, disco balls, confetti, and crowd-wide singalongs, all without the midnight finish. The soundtrack pulls from the biggest hits of the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s, blending nostalgia with the feeling of a full-scale club night. The event’s “The Block” theme leans into hip hop and R&B favorites, creating a dance floor built around familiar hooks and shared memories. Running from 5 to 9pm, DAYSHIFT offers a different rhythm for going out, with the party ending before the rest of the evening begins.
