Become an astronomer and observe the Sun safely with a filtered telescope. The event takes place outside the National Air and Space Museum at the corner of 7th Street and Independence Avenue, near the silver Delta Solar sculpture. Knowledgeable staff is available to answer questions and guide observing, and the program generally occurs on Fridays and Saturdays, weather permitting.
