Amazon shoppers—waiting for packages will soon be a thing of the past.
Following the trend of websites opening brick-and-mortars (i.e. Birchbox and Piperlime), Amazon is the next online retailer to join the party. According to reports, Amazon’s first ever store will be located at 7 W 34th St, neighboring the Empire State Building.
Expect to find Amazon-made products such as Kindle Tablets, the Fire TV and the Fire smartphone, but this location is also likely to have a limited inventory available for same-day delivery within the New York area. Best part? The store is set to open just in time for the holiday season, so this means you have a better chance of receiving your holiday gifts on time this year.
As of right now, there is no set opening date. But once all the Halloween festivities wrap up, it won't be long.
