Remember Ed Sheeran, the ginger-mopped British singer-songwriter who visited our office a few years back to perform his hit "The A Team" Live at Time Out? Well, his stock has risen just a wee little bit since then—a couple of platinum albums here, a sprinkling of Grammy nominations there. Sheeran didn't take home any statues last night, but he did take the stage with a no-big-deal assortment of players including John Mayer, Questlove and EL-freakin'-O.

Sheeran has just announced a whole slew of U.S. dates for the spring and summer, and while we can't promise guests of that caliber, it wouldn't surprise us in the least if a few big names turn up to help Sheeran support his strummy 2014 folk-pop opus, X, when he hits Forest Hills Tennis Stadium on May 28 and 29. Pick up tickets—on sale here next Friday, February 20, at 10am—and find out for yourself.
