Forthcoming bakery-bar Butter & Scotch (of decadent holiday pies fame) is throwing a week-long tequila party complete with cake and cocktails. To celebrate Día de los Reyes, a Mexican holiday also known as Three King's Day and Epiphany, the brains behind the operation—sweets and spirits mavens Keavy Blueher and Allison Kave—will serve tequila-kicked treats each night from 7–9pm beginning Monday, Jan 5 through Sunday, Jan 11.

The duo will also be shaking an Espolon Anejo tequila cocktail, aptly named El Epifania, with house-made ginger-lime syrup and cinnamon-forward tiki bitters. Pair it with a slice of the traditional oval-shaped pastry, which is licked with lime zest and spiced with cinnamon, then drizzled in a tequila-infused glaze. The coupling costs $15, but you'll also have the option to choose between them; however individual prices are still being determined. Those looking to grab-and-go will have to park it: The dessert is given enough booze (like those at boozy dessert den Spirited) that you'll have to show ID and then find a spot in the 30-seat café.
