The art nouveau façade of the building that houses the Grand Hotel Evropa sticks out like a sore thumb among the souvenir shops of Wenceslas Square. Once inside, though, you'll appreciate the exterior. Some rooms still come in tattered Louis XVI style, although the renovated ones are more pleasant. If you want a laugh, and a chance to snap some inside-and-out photos to show pals back home, try 'economy class' accommodation: rooms have a basin but share a bathroom. (However, 52 of the 92 rooms do have en suite facilities.)
