Defining itself as an 'art, books & sushi' gallery, this newcomer (the name means 'welcome') - on a quiet street parallel to the shopping and transport artery of via Nazionale - is an oasis of peace and quality in an area dominated by desultory tourist-oriented eateries. The interior is spacious and cultured (tables spill over into the bookshop and gallery space, where regular art and photography exhibitions are organised), but we especially like the small Zen garden out back, which is open all year, weather permitting (overhead braziers keep off the winter chill). The menu is pure Japanese rather than watered-down Italo-Nipponic, with good sushi, sashimi, tempura and karaage chicken served in wooden bento boxes. Green tea is on the house.
