This modern locale is a relief from the area's posh tearooms and over-decorated cafés. The decor is clean and ultra-white, with delicate touches like votive candles and single pink roses in miniature jars. It's an all-day kind of place - from late breakfast to light lunch, from evening aperitivi to snacky dinner.
The menu is divided into sections ('Be Warm' - soups, melted brie; 'Be Light' - salads; 'Be Classic' - Italian staples): then there's a selection of great ice-cream and peculiarities such as chocolate fondue. Prices are on the high side - count on around €20 a head for a very light lunch - but you're paying for the prime location. They also do a special summer picnic-hamper service for those who like the idea of a déjeuner sur l'herbe in nearby Villa Borghese (you drop the basket back later).
