On February 24th, Time Out participated at Social Media Week in New York, a news platform and global conference that explores the social, cultural and economic impact of social media. This year, the global theme revolved around the 'Rise of the Connected Class' - posing the question: how can all humans achieve more in a connected world?
Time Out's Head of Digital Content Roman Tagoe and Time Out New York's Editor-in-Chief Terri White contributed to the conversation with a session on Time Out's Print to Digital Evolution Towards Creating a More Interconnected Community. The session tied into Social Media Week's global theme by connecting Time Out users with similar passions and experiences in their city - and in any city around the world.
The fully packed session (and live-streaming online) allowed for an engaged audience that asked meaningful, thought-provoking questions. Check out the buzz via #SMWtimeout: http://www.hashtagr.co/SMWtimeout
