Time Out Market Chicago, located at 916 W. Fulton Market, continues to capture the soul of the city by adding to its carefully curated showcase of delicious cuisine with the addition of Lono Poke. Offering fresh poke and Hawaiian favorites, Lono Poke will officially open in the market on Wednesday, May 17th.
“It’s been an exciting time at Time Out Market Chicago as we continue to add to our already exciting roster of chefs and vendors,” said Robert LaPata, Time Out Market Chicago General Manager. “Lono Poke is a unique concept and we’re looking forward to sharing its island flavors and ingredients just in time for summer in Chicago.”
Inspired by childhood experiences visiting family in Oahu, Owner Ty Fujimura’s Lono Poke pays tribute to the authentic Hawaiian poke you find at markets in the beachside town of Haleiwa. Guests can forget basic build-your-own bowls popularized during the fast-casual poke craze a few years back: Lono Poke’s dishes combine glistening cubes of fresh fish and premium white rice with flavorful toppings like crisped shallots, snappy seaweed and signature “Ono” sauce for a genuinely delicious taste of Hawaiian culture and the true Aloha spirit.
Menu highlights include:
- Da Kine, Ahi tuna, sweet onion, pickled cucumber, seaweed, scallion, ono sauce
- Ichiban, Japanese hamachi, sweet onion, scallion, jalapeno, cucumber, fried shallots, ono sauce, ponzu
- Primo, Salmon, sweet onion, pickled cucumber, fried shallots, ono sauce, miso sauce
- Ohana, Tuna, salmon, hamachi, avocado, pickled cucumber, fried shallot, cilantro, ono sauce, spicy mayo
Lono Poke is Time Out Market Chicago’s 17th concept to be added since reopening in June 2020. For more information about Lono Poke at Time Out Market Chicago, please visit www.timeoutmarket.com/chicago.
