Time Out New York today announces that Marcia Gagliardi is the winner of its Win the Ultimate New York Life competition. Thousands of participants across America submitted sample blog posts on city living for a chance to gain an opportunity to write for Time Out New York and live it up in Manhattan.
Starting December 1, Gagliardi will spend the next six months at Time Out New York, blogging about the best things happening in the city, while living rent-free in a one-bedroom apartment at The Ritz Plaza (235 W 48th St), a luxury building owned and managed by Stonehenge NYC. The Ritz Plaza boasts high-end amenities including a fitness center, member’s lounge, rooftop terrace, heated pool and the Let’s Drive NYC car-sharing program.
Gagliardi’s winning entry, “Seven things San Francisco restaurants need to stop doing, like, right now" was among the top 15 finalists that were put to a public vote. Her hilarious, insightful skewering of food trends in her hometown felt like the perfect fit for the Time Out brand as well as readers. She maintains her own blog, Tablehopper.com.
Time Out New York’s Editor Carla Sosenko says, “We’re thrilled to have Marcia join us for a unique, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. We look forward to welcoming her as part of our team, contribute exciting content ideas as well as experience a new city in her role at Time Out New York.”
