One of the most scenic terraces on one of the prettiest canals, it's no surprise that waterside seats are snared early in the day, so patience - or an alarm clock in good working order - are essential. Inside it's extremely cute, too, with gleaming brass fixtures harking back to the heady drinking days of the 18th century, when it was the Hoppe distillery.
