The oldest cinema in Amsterdam to remain in regular use, The Movies has been circulating celluloid since way back in 1912, and it still exudes a genteel atmosphere of sophisticated elegance to this day. The excellent adjoining Wild Kitchen restaurant serves decent set dinners, and the cost - between €26 and €37 - includes a ticket.
