Alto

Small and often smoky, the widely renowned Alto is one of the city's older and better jazz venues. Renowned Dutch saxophonist Hans Dulfer (Candy's dad) has a long-running slot on Wednesday evenings, but the quality isn't generally much lower on the other six nights of the week.
