Dov Charney picked Amsterdam for his newest American Apparel outlet, perhaps because the town has a casual attitude perfect for the sweatshop-free, relaxed style of his cotton T-shirts and other pieces. (Or perhaps he just needed new fresh meat for his pervy magazine ads. Only time will tell.)
