China’s streaming giant iQIYI is launching a super interactive park in Yangzhou this February – here's everything you need to know

In huge news for drama fans, China’s streaming giant iQIYI is stepping off the screen and into the real world with the launch of iQIYI LAND. Opening just in time for Lunar New Year, this next-gen indoor entertainment park promises cinematic worlds, live characters and tech-powered storytelling that puts you right in the plot.
iQIYI LAND is the world’s first offline entertainment park created by iQIYI, one of China’s biggest streaming platforms. Think of it as a physical extension of your favourite Chinese dramas, films and variety shows – a place where IP doesn’t just live on-screen, but surrounds you in real life. Designed as a fully immersive, interactive indoor theme park, it blends cutting-edge technology with iconic Chinese stories, inviting visitors to step straight into the action.
The first iQIYI LAND will officially open on February 8, 2026, perfectly timed for the Chinese New Year holiday period. Ticket presales kick off earlier, on January 16, giving eager fans a head start on planning their visit.
This isn’t a rollercoaster-and-fairy-floss situation. iQIYI LAND Yangzhou is built around seven immersive zones, featuring everything from high-tech theatres and interactive light-and-shadow installations to live stage performances and cinematic photo spots recreated from famous film and TV scenes. Expect live NPCs (non-player characters), hidden storylines, social games and hands-on experiences that make each visit feel personalised – like you’re playing a lead role rather than watching from the sidelines. There’ll also be IP-exclusive dining and retail, because no fandom experience is complete without merch.
The inaugural park is opening in Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province, a historic city just a short trip from Shanghai. It marks the first step in iQIYI’s broader offline expansion, with two more iQIYI LAND projects already in development elsewhere in China.
Once ticket presales open on January 16, visitors will be able to book entry in advance, with the park welcoming families, fans and travellers from February 8 onwards. If you’re planning a Lunar New Year trip to China – or looking for a very different kind of theme park experience – iQIYI LAND Yangzhou is shaping up to be a must-see stop on the itinerary.
