A Dickens’ Christmas Carol: A Traveling Travesty in Two Tumultuous Acts by Mark Landon Smith tells the story of a doomed production of the Dickens classic A Christmas Carol. When the company’s diva feigns illness, the merry troupe of upstart and over-the-hill actors decide to proceed without her. After all, the show must go on! There’s one little problem, though. The understudy only knows one line. When the diva rushes in, mid-performance, to reclaim her role, the company scrambles to keep the show from falling down around them. This production, directed by Jeffrey Bigger, is appropriate for all ages, and a wonderful choice for a family outing to the theatre.

Featuring Jerry Jobe, Dylan Parker Singletary, Julie Forbes Resh, Freddy Lynn Wilson, Patrick Hill, LeeAnna Lambert, & Jessie Kuipers
