Georgia Ensemble Theatre & Conservatory says
In a unique partnership with the Chattahoochee Nature Center, we're thrilled to bring back GET's best-selling production of ALMOST HEAVEN: JOHN DENVER'S AMERICA. Performances will run Thursdays through Saturdays, July 23-August 8,2015 at the Chattahoochee Nature Center’s Ben Brady Pavilion, 9135 Willeo Rd., Roswell, GA 30075.

Under the direction of GET Artistic Director Robert J. Farley, and featuring our original cast of actor/musicians (Dolph Amick, Mary Nye Bennett, Christopher Damiano, Scott DePoy and Jeremy Wood), the musical celebrates the work of America’s beloved open-hearted troubadour, John Denver. His songs make up much of the soundscape of the 60s and 70s, with their honesty, passion, and love of nature and mankind. Featured songs include “Rocky Mountain High,” “Sunshine on My Shoulders,” “Annie’s Song,” “Leaving on a Jet Plane,” and many more.

Now Georgia Ensemble Theatre partners with the Chattahoochee Nature Center in remounting a concert version of this popular show in the beautiful outdoor venue which perfectly celebrates Denver’s love of all things nature. In addition to the show, enjoy all of the amenities of the Nature Center, bring a picnic to dine on site, or order from a catered menu from Talk of the Town with meals available for pickup at the event. There will also be a cash bar available before and during the show. The Center will open at 6:30pm on performance nights for ticketed patrons to enjoy the exhibits and grounds, with show time starting at 8:00pm.

Table seats under the pavilion are $30. Lawn seating under the stars is $15.
