The Atlanta Persian Festival was established in 2013 by the Persian Cultural Center (PCC) of Atlanta - KANOON to promote the Persian culture, tradition, and history in Atlanta.
The Festival has fundamental components that aim to introduce, Persian art, music, food, dance, and other cultural activities to show the people of Atlanta what the Persian culture is about. The venue is in the heart of Atlanta, Piedmont Park. Many cultural activities take place at Piedmont Park, which gives us the opportunity to expand our audience. We have been recognized by event organizers as one of the most successful cultural events in Atlanta. The Festival had over 8,000 visitors in 2014 and 2015 and near 14000 people in 2016 which were not anticipated by anyone. The 2016 Persian Festival created the most surplus and even that fell short of the outcome we expected. As we plan the 2017 event, the expansion of cultural activities has been the main focus which will result in an increase of expenses and the need to have more members to achieve that goal.

We are building upon our success from last three years to make the 2017 Festival even bigger and more entertaining.
