Court Review Of Miami Seaquarium Animal Welfare Act Violations
Advertising
Time Out says
Let's show up in BIG numbers to let the court know we absolutely want them to reopen the case regarding Lolita's care at Miami Seaquarium. If they decide to reopen the case by Animal Legal Defense Fund, the court will go on to review the multiple violations of the Animal Welfare Act by the Miami Seaquarium. (illegal tank size, isolation of normally sociable orca whale, absence of shade from intense Florida sun, etc.) They will also consider why the USDA has continued to renew the Seaquarium's license for years despite these violations.
When:
March 24th, 2015
Where:
United States Court of Appeals
for the Eleventh Circuit
56 Forsyth Street, N.W.
Atlanta, Georgia 30303
