Atlanta Bicycle Coalition says
Join us for May’s ride, tally and rally to get Atlanta noticed as a top city for everyday biking! This month’s theme for the national People for Bikes #EverydayBiking challenge is Baskets, Racks & Flowers.

RIDE: Ride through the 10th St. two-way, protected bike lane that runs along Piedmont Park from Monroe to Charles Allen Dr. anytime between 4:30 and 5:30pm, Thursday, May 28 to be counted in the tally.

TALLY: In addition to counting the total number of people on bikes, we’ll be tallying the number of you on the cycle track who have baskets or racks on your bike—bonus if you’ve got flowers along for the ride. Help Atlanta take this month’s title: Make sure your baskets and racks are mounted, decorate your ride with flowers or just pick up a bouquet, then ride through and be counted!

RALLY: We’ll hang out in the park swapping #EverydayBiking stories and cheering on our fellow everyday cyclists as they ride the cycle track. Plus, we’ll be giving away reusable bags from Trader Joe's—Midtown while supplies last.
