High Museum of Art says
Thank goodness it’s Friday at the High Museum of Art! On the first Friday of every month, you can count on the High for drop-in art making, live performances, and drinks. Part art party, part happy hour—and did we mention it’s all free with Museum admission?

February's event will include:
Drop-in snow globe-making with Indie Craft Experience and featured artist Control Center
Performance by Atlanta Funk Society
Ice Carving by Adrián Barzaga
Fortune Telling Booth complete with hand-drawn fortunes by Paper Ghost Studio
Screening of Ferris Bueller's Day Off
Photobooth with E.K. Sluder and more!

PLUS, join 88.5 GPB News Atlanta LIVE at the High from 4-7 p.m. for a special broadcast of NPR All Things Considered, the most listened-to, afternoon drive-time, news radio program in the country. On the arts-themed show, host Rickey Bevington talks about the state of the arts in Atlanta with ArtsATL executive director Susannah Darrow. Also on the show, you'll hear visual artists talk about life in Atlanta and the Atlanta Music Project's impact on the West Lake community.
