Kashi Atlanta Ashram says
Friday, December 11 · 6:00 pm Friday · 12:30 pm Saturday — with Swami Jaya Devi

Join us as we prepare and distribute hundreds of holiday packages to Atlanta’s homeless.
The success of this effort relies on the involvement of our entire extended Kashi family! Here’s how you can help:

Donate Goods!

We are collecting the following items as donations:

Backpacks (new or gently used) – 100
Hats – 500
Scarves – 500
Gloves (new or gently used) – 500
No other donations of clothing, please.
Men’s clothing only
Blankets (the light, fleecy kind) – 500
Toiletries – Men's TRIAL Size Only
Holiday Candy (Candy Canes, Chocolate Bells, Kisses, Santas, etc.)
The ashram is short on storage space. Thus, we encourage people to
hold onto their items for Holiday Street Meals until a day or two
before December 11 or bring them on December 11 at 5:30, a half hour before assembly begins.

If you cannot store items at your home, or if you decide to “go big”
and acquire an entire category of an item, please contact Ganga Devi at

Donate Money!

Support the purchasing items that are not donated. You can do this in person at the Kashi Atlanta front desk, via PayPal using the form on our Donation Page, or by calling (404) 687-3353. Every bit helps!

Help Us Assemble!

We’ll meet at the ashram on Friday, 12/11 at 6:00 pm to assemble the backpacks.

Bring Your Cheer!

We’ll pass out the goods on Saturday, 12/12 at 11:45 am for a light luncheon. We’ll meet at the ashram and car-pool to the shelter.

This is a special holiday effort of our ongoing Street Meals service program.
