present a new series: Alliance(s) in Action.

Join us for a FREE reading of "Too Heavy for Your Pocket" playwright Jiréh Breon Holder’s new play "In the Southern Breeze,"
followed by a facilitated community conversation.

Synopsis: A contemporary African-American male playwright (played by Jiréh) contemplates the value of black lives, by writing into existence the meeting of four black men from different time periods under a noose in the woods: a slave from 1670, a free man of color, Huey Newton, and a New Yorker from the 1980’s.

Jiréh Breon Holder, Markell Williams, and Daviorr Snipes
