Known as a founding member of Zydeco Force, Jeffrey Broussard helped originate the Nouveau Zydeco sound. He started his own band, playing single & triple row accordion and fiddle in 2004; in 2007 Jeffrey was honored with the title of Accordionist of the Year by the Zydeco Music and Creole Heritage Awards. Jeffery has been inspired by legendary fiddlers Canray Fontenot and Calvin Carriere, and by his own father, accordionist Delton Broussard.
