The first season (1985-1986) of the Festival Singers culminated with a performance of the Brahms EIN DEUTSCHES REQUIEM. As William Baker retires as Music Director & Conductor of the WBFS-Atlanta following the 2014-2015 season, it is fitting that his last masterwork performance with the original Festival Singers ensemble be the one that has been such an important part of the ensemble’s history. the performance will be followed by a reception in honor of Dr. Baker’s nearly 40 years of service to the Atlanta community.
