George Alexander Grant, photographer for the National Parks Service from 1929-1954, produced iconic images of national parks, monuments, historic sites, battlefields, and other locations. His photographs captured the beauty of America’s most beloved national treasures, inspiring millions to protect and preserve these natural and historic places. Join Ren and Helen Davis, authors of "Landscapes for the People: George Alexander Grant, First Chief Photographer of the National Park Service," as they explore the life and works of this master craftsman.

This lecture is presented in conjunction with "National Parks Adventure," now showing in Fernbank’s IMAX® Theatre.
