Georgia Equality says
Open Enrollment has started!
Do You Have Questions?

While over 300,000 Georgians have already benefited from coverage thanks to the Affordable Care Act, there are still hundreds of thousands of Georgians who remain uninsured. Once again, Georgia Equality is pleased to be partnering with The Health Initiative and Georgians for a Healthy Future to make sure you understand how to choose a health insurance plan that works for you.

Do you have questions or need help getting started with open enrollment? The Health Initiative is dedicated to improving the health of all LGBTQ Georgians and will be offering several community education events over the next few months to help answer your Open Enrollment questions and offer assistance with the process.

Those who are eligible for health insurance, and do not purchase coverage for 2016 will incure a penalty when they file taxes in 2017.
2016 Penalty: $695 or 2.5% of you income (whichever is greater).

We will have specific information for Transgender individuals and People Living with HIV/AIDS.
