The Phidippides Long Run Series consists of 6 group runs which will take place this summer/fall in order to prepare individuals for a Fall Half Marathon.
All runs will begin at Phidippides-Ansley Mall at 7:30am. Series is FREE

• Saturday Aug. 8th 7 and 11 miles
• Saturday Aug. 29th 8 and 12 miles
• Saturday Sep. 26th 9 and 13 miles
• Saturday Oct. 17th 10 and 14 miles
• Saturday Nov. 21st 7 mile taper run for the Atlanta 1/2 and 15 miles
• Saturday Dec. 5th 7 mile Taper Run for JG

Each run will have hydration stops (1 every 3 miles), course maps will be posted online and provided at the start and there will be limited run lead support.
Note: This is not a formal training program. There will not be multiple group leaders at every pace. Runners are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the route ahead of time and bring a running buddy.

Courses. Routes will be designed to incorporate portions of the Atlanta Half Marathon and the Jeff Galloway 13.1.

This series is geared toward intermediate runners. Intermediate runners are those that have comfortably finished a 10k within the last 3 months.
