Please join the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers on March 16, 2015, at noon for a Lunch & Learn with Sloane Perras, Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of The Krystal Company. Ms. Perras has enjoyed a quick rise to the top of her profession. Last year, at age 37, she was named as a "Rising Star" by the Daily Report. She has served as Acting General Counsel of Aaron’s, Inc. and Assistant General Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary at Americold Realty Trust, a REIT and largest cold-storage warehouseman in the world. Ms. Perras will speak on her career trajectory, how she took risks, and how she turned negative experiences into positives to forge her future. Ms. Perras is on the Advisory Council for the National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF) and is the V.P. of Special Programs for the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Georgia Chapter, having previously served as its Secretary (2014) and a Member at Large (2012-2013). Ms. Perras has a J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law and B.S. in Finance from the University of Florida. She is licensed in Florida, Georgia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Washington.
