Time Out says

Dr. Matthew Smith (University of Florida) will talk about his field work in northern South American rainforest on truffles and unique mycorrhizal communities that specific trees form with various fungi. Matt will discuss basic diversity of the fungi, the unique challenges of fieldwork in a remote tropical habitat, and will discuss a bit about the biogeography and evolution of the fungi from this region. The Meet-And-Greet starts at 6:30pm, so come early! Directions: The church is located on Lavista Road west of North Druid Hills Road in the Toco Hills area. It is right after Chili's restaurant and right before the light at Houston Mill Road. The church has two driveways (both one-way). Facing the church, the entrance driveway is on the left (east). Drive in and go 3/4 of the way around the church (doing a big loop). The entrance is on the west side through the doors marked "Welcome." Follow the signs inside the church to the meeting room.
