with Candika Kim Alford and Maha Devi (Alison) Hastings Enjoy an evening of playfully fun yoga, exploring partner-assisted asanas with senior yoga instructor Candika and Maha Devi. Partner Yoga is all about creating quality time with yourself and your partner, cultivating connection, trust and deeper awareness with each other. It is a practice to directly experience the root principle of Yoga: union. Partner yoga promotes laughter and creativity, concentration and balance, as well as relaxation and rejuvenation. In the second half of the workshop, you and your partner will learn some simple yogic massage techniques that you can practice together at home. It is a unique form of yoga therapy which combines acu-pressure, compression massage, thai yoga postures, energy work and meditation. Please bring an open mind, a sense of playfulness and feel free to come with a yoga partner, whether that’s a significant other or a friend. Appropriate for all levels of yoga students. NOT recommended for people who have never done yoga or have an injury. Pricing: $20 $15 with registration by January 24 $15 with unlimited yoga pass
