Beep Beep Gallery is proud to present new work by Atlanta based artist Steve Pomberg. Pomberg's abstract work combine bright color-fields and simple precise geometric shapes to convey abstracted landscapes and objects.

Please join us Saturday, February 21st from 7-10pm, for the opening reception of "Smashed Landscapes".

ABOUT "SMASHED LANDSCAPES"

"My current body of work consists of idealized panoramas invoking memories of pastoral vistas that collide with the depredated landscapes rampantly surrounding and occluding our 21st century perspectives. Structural and industrial precision contrasts with hallucinations of primitive oceans and mountains that override subdivisions and strip malls; concrete transitions and aerosol fumes emulate glassy waves and offshore winds. These paintings offer the viewer an illusionary, campestral escape from the drab tones and distressed state of our immediate urban environment."

- Steve Pomberg
