Founded in 1973 and rooted in African-American history and culture, Sweet Honey in the Rock® uses a cappella singing and American Sign Language interpretation to educate, entertain, and empower audiences and communities. In performances from Japan to Scotland and Canada to Kenya, this Grammy Award-nominated female quartet has consistently uplifted audiences with positive, socially conscious music that preserves and enriches the longstanding traditions of African-American vocal #music.
