The Knucklehead Century says

Join The Spindle ATL and Category 6 Racing Crew for the easiest and greasiest century you've ever done.

Chrome Yellow Trading Co. will start us off right with some morning brew.

We'll be riding out to Knucklehead Cafe to stuff our faces with fried delights in beautiful Rockmart, Georgia. You will be awed and amazed by

When we return to The Spindle, we'll be greeted by some craft goodness thanks to My Friend's Growler Shop, who has hooked us up with some kegs of local brews from Scofflaw Brewing Company (The Basement IPA) and Eventide Brewing's Kolsh.

We'll be asking for $5 donations per pint with all the profits being donated directly to FB4K Atlanta to help less privileged kids get on bikes!

If you've been wanting to try endurance riding, but haven't had a good reason or motivation this is your ride.

We'll be riding 100 miles round tripβ€”78 of which are on the Silver Comet where we will collectively face the grueling challenges of 0-2% grade hills on a protected bike path and weekend warrior triathletes.

We'll be keeping a moderate 13-15mph pace out to Knucklehead, and then an itis-adjusted 12-13mph pace on the way back.

This ride is totally free. Bring your own snacks, tools (if you've got em'), and monies for lunch at Knucklehead.

Don't have your own tools or don't know how to fix things like a flat? Don't worry, plenty of us will bring our own gear and should be able to help you out!

This is an easy century, but it's still a century. If you've never gone on longer rides before, try going on a couple 30-50 mile rides and see how you feel.

Meet at The Spindle at 7am to come alive with coffee or energy gels, whatever your style is.

Roll out at 8am sharp. We're party pacing and have planned plenty of snack, bathroom, and instagram stops. Also, we're accounting for like 30-45 minutes of time lost to the itis, so time is precious.

We should get to Knucklehead around 12:30-1pm and get back to the city around 6-7pm.
