UGA Night at Six Flags Over Georgia set for April 17

Athens, Ga – The University of Georgia will host the 12th annual UGA Night at Six Flags Over Georgia on April 17. University students, faculty, staff, alumni and their families will have exclusive access to the theme park from 6pm until midnight.

Tickets went on sale Monday, March 16 and if purchased by 4 p.m. on April 10 will be $25.50 ($20.50 for UGA students with valid UGACards who pay activity fees on the Athens campus. April 11-17, tickets will be $30.50 or $25.50 for students. Tickets sold at the gate are $35.50. UGA students must purchase their tickets at the Tate Center Cashier Window to receive the discount price and the first 900 UGA students will receive a free t-shirt.

All ticket purchasers will receive a voucher for a free return visit on June 7, 14 or 21.

Parking is free, and children two years of age and younger will be admitted without charge.

Live entertainment from several UGA student groups and other performers will also be featured.

Tickets may be purchased at the Tate Student Center Cashier Window, open weekdays from 9 a.m. ­­- 4 p.m., by calling 706-542-8074 or online at http://tate.uga.edu. Student ticket prices are honored at the cashier window only. Tickets ordered online or by phone are subject to the non-student rate.

A limited number of bus passes are available at a cost of $14 for students and $24 for non-students. Bus passes are available for purchase at the Cashier Window only.

UGA Night at Six Flags is sponsored by UGA Student Affairs and the University Union Student Programming Board and is supported by the UGA Alumni Association.
