UUCA - Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Atlanta says
The UUCA Performing Arts Coordination Team is happy to welcome back singer-songwriter Brooksie Wells, the initial host of the UUCA Underground Coffeehouse, as the featured artist for the June 25th coffeehouse. Brooksie is a native Southerner who moved to New York City in the 1970s, where she was influenced by the folk music of the time. Her most recent album, North East Rising Sun, was in the top 10 on the Folk DJ Chart for October 2015. In addition to her appearance at the Underground Coffeehouse, her 2016 tour is taking her to performances in Missouri, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, and New York. For more information and to sample her music, visit www.brooksiewells.com.

As usual, there will be an open mic session and refreshments will be available. The Coffeehouse is located in the Underground Theatre, Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Atlanta, 1911 Cliff Valley Way NE, Atlanta, 30329 (alternate address for the parking lot: 1597 Interstate -85 Frontage Road, Atlanta, GA 30329). Doors open at 7 pm; music is 7:30-9:30 pm. Suggested donation is $10, but no one is turned away.
