Time Out says
Fear is the deepest source of our suffering, and virtually all of our unnecessary suffering. It clouds many of the ways we experience the world, and yet we clutch our fear, holding on to it because we have mistaken our fear-based thinking for our true selves. Through the radical act of compassionate surrender we lay down our fear, and we release ourselves, opening to experience actual freedom and joy for no reason.
Learning how to live fearlessly doesn't have to be scary, overwhelming, lonely, or dry.
Over the weekend, we’ll flow through a deep yoga asana practice, sing Sanskrit chants to open ourselves to be able to listen more deeply. Swami Jaya Devi, a caring and joyous spiritual master, will introduce the concept of fearlessness, and guide us into meditation.
We will have the opportunity to ask Swami questions and receive accessible teachings in a friendly and nonjudgmental atmosphere.
We will come away encouraged and empowered with practical tools and tips for living our lives more fearlessly and authentically, filled up as we learn from the struggles and successes of others in the room.
