After a month with few vintage markets in Barcelona, we hope you’ve recharged your batteries and are ready to get back to rummaging through piles of clothes. More and more people prefer to shop in second-hand stores to refresh their wardrobe, and Barcelona has plenty of them.
Barcelona’s retail scene is full of this kind of shop, and they come in all varieties: from places where you can find real bargains for under a fiver to others with more curated pieces, such as Oxymora Studio, on Avenida de la Riera de Cassoles, 10.
Barcelona is the city with the second-most vintage stores in Spain, and it has long since become a reference point in the sector. But this isn’t just down to the growing number of second-hand shops – it’s also down to its many excellent markets.
Barcelona hosts markets full of treasures and relics of all kinds that have already become staples of the city’s calendar. At Time Out we’re fanatics too, and we know it’s not easy to keep track of them all, so we’ve put together a round-up of the ones in September. Check back in October for our next round-up too!
