Time Out says

Much loved gay bar in Brum's gay village, with friendly staff, extravagant decor and quality DJs playing until late every weekend

Previously known as The White Swan, the venue was refurbished and renamed in 2008 – thus Eden was born and has been going strong ever since. Along with being one of the favourites amongst gay men and their friends, Eden also hosts ‘Lip Gloss’, a monthly event which supports Birmingham’s transgender community.

Greeted by a flashing neon rainbow sign upon entry, Eden boasts a stylish Victorian-esque décor, complete with extravagant oversized mirror frames, black velvet drapes and fringed lamp shades; it’s as comfortable as it is stylish.

With a dedicated pool room towards the back, Eden is open from 2pm every day and is the perfect spot to have a natter with friends over a beer and a game of pool.

As dusk sets in, Eden welcomes some of the scene’s best loved DJ’s, including DJ Dan on Thursdays and Saturdays and DJ Nikki on Fridays and Sundays. With friendly staff, lovely owners and great music, Eden never fails to draw in a crowd.

Situated at the bottom of Hurst Street and open until 4am, Eden is the ideal place to start and finish your night out.
