Time Out says

4 out of 5 stars

Playful pop-vintage venue with oodles of history and a thoroughly modern list of cocktails on offer.

The Cosy Club is a colourful spot that prides itself on serving a blend of old and new, thanks to its combination of historic setting, funky interiors and lively drinks menu.

The Bennett’s Hill building has stood since 1830, when it was built as a banking headquarters. The imposing columns, intricate ceilings and wood-panelling all remain, providing a stunning backdrop for post-work drinks.

Meanwhile, the jazzy sofas and wacky new colour schemes set the tone for a more relaxed age. At the bar, the theme continues with modern twists on time-honoured drinks. Thus you can order a Maple Pecan Old Fashioned (£6.95), Salted Caramel Alexander (£6.95) or even a Key Lime Pie (£6.75).

The spirits selection is nice and varied, with Bermudan rum, Japanese whisky and Polish vodka available alongside the obligatory English gins.
