16 mind-blowing bakes from Cake International 2015

The 2015 Cake International exhibition at the Birmingham NEC drew to a close on November 8, after three days of breathtaking baking, sugarcraft and cake decorating talent that would leave even Paul Hollywood weeping into his Windtorte.

While there there countless tasty constructions at this year's event, there were two definite headturners: the model of Prince George, created by Lara Mason from Walsall, and the life size Angelina Jolie from Disney's recent movie 'Maleficent'. The latter was constructed from 50 boxes of rice crispies, 240 packets of marshmallows and 25 blocks of butter by cake artist Emma Jayne Morris over the course of four weeks.
