This Saturday April 11, Glaswegian artist and activist Ellie Harrison will unleash her latest performance event/exhibition on the streets of Birmingham - and she needs your help!

'High Street Casualties: Ellie Harrison's Zombie Walk' looks to bring the 'creative-destructive forces of capitalism' to life by enlisting over 100 volunteers to dress as zombies in the haggered old uniforms of 16 high street giants past - including Blockbuster, Woolworths, Phones 4U and MFI - before heading out on a zombie walk from the sites of these now-defunct businesses, through the city centre and on to a dusk-time 'zombie ball' at the Ort Gallery in Balsall Heath.

Sound like your idea of fun? Get yourself involved by contacting Josephine Reichert at Ort Gallery on info@ortgallery.co.uk - rehearsals are on Thursday from 5pm to 7pm, and make-up and final briefings for participants are at 11am on Saturday, with a free lunch included. The walk sets off at 4pm.
