Birmingham certainly know how to throw a party. This week, the Second City has plenty of options for you to choose from across all genres of music - read on for our pick of this week's best. 


Tektu 1st Birthday, The Rainbow Venues, Thursday, £6
A mid-week party like no other in the city, Tektu consistently delivers the very best in techno, house and garage to Birmingham. Head down on Thursday for their first birthday celebrations, with a secret headliner announced on the day. 

Resonate presents Hot Flush Recordings, Next Door, Friday, £8
Fresh from his new album release, Hot Flush founder Scuba returns to Birmingham this Friday for the first time in two years. The rambunctious Locked Groove joins him in the intimate setting of Next Door in Digbeth.

OUSE: 90s rave, Boxxed, Friday, £8
Paying homage to the great raves of the 90s, the OUSE collective has a rep for bringing some of the best stage production and party concepts in the city. Don your best 90s clobber and revel in all sorts of underground music genres, including house, disco, drum & bass and garage.

A trio of D&B legends come to Birmingham on Saturday night for the latest Break Thru party at Alfie Bird's in Digbeth. Exit records boss dBridge is joined by Japan's Makoto and fellow Good Lookin alumni, MC Conrad, under his Con*natural guise. Listening Session host room 2.

Dubgasm – PST Rooftop – Saturday March 28th
Put your lighters up for the sound of dub with Dubgasm at PST Rooftop this Saturday. Rave for a good cause to the city’s best jungle, drum and bass and dub music, with 100% proceeds going to Central Food Bank.

Mr Jangles meets Mrs Jangles with EXPERIMENT, The Rainbow Venues, Saturday, £7
