Selfridges is joining forces with some of Birmingham and the UK's most creative organisations and individuals for the first-ever Live + Loud festival on the weekend of October 1-4.

Celebrating the best music, art, fashion, film, food and more that our city has to offer, the festivities will take place both in store at Selfridges and, in conjunction with London's Institute of Contemporary Arts, at a specially constructed pop-up arts space in nearby Digbeth.

Off site, there'll be a three-day exhibition and music programme that aims to celebrate Birmingham's creativity via photography from Tyrone Lebon, art from Fergadelic, film showcases from Just Jam's Tim & Barry and music from Brummie-born DJ Barely Legal, plus much, much more. The exhibition space is free to attend, but you'll need to grab tickets here in advance.

Meanwhile, in the Selfridges store itself, events range from a one-night-only Michelin-starred restaurant from Birmingham's own Anthony Demetre on October 1 (book tables here), to a Bollywood cinema throughout all four days presented by local restaurant Itihaas, as well as brand activations and special presentations, performances and installations from the fashion and design students of Birmingham City University School of Art across the entire weekend.

This is just a small sample of the events taking place - to find out more about the full programme, head to the Selfridges website.
