Six dazzling parties this Bank Holiday weekend in Brum

It's Bank Holiday weekend. Again! We've been spoilt with days off and amazing parties here in Brum over the last couple of months, but this is the last guilt-free, work-free day you'll get until August, so you better make the most of it. Here are six quality club nights to help you do just so. Enjoy your weekend.

FZKS Free Party, Amusement 13, Friday, 10pm-6am, free
Three of the hottest names in underground bass-driven music hit Amusement 13 on Friday night for a special free party in the club's newly revamped main room. Swamp81 staple Benton plays alongside the excellent Amy Becker in room one, while Critical Music new blood Foreign Concept headlines the second space. 

Fidget presents: Sinden, The Rainbow Venues, Friday, 11pm-6am, £10
Returning to the newly renovated Archway space at Rainbow Venues, Fidget invite a dance-music heavyweight to town - KISS FM's Sinden. This guy needs little introduction, having released on A-Track's Fools Gold imprint and collaborated with the likes of Shadow Child and Brenmar. Support comes from Marc Spence and Brendon Ross.

Break Thru: Spectrasoul LP Launch, Alfie Birds, Saturday, 10pm-5am, £10-£12
Soulful drum & bass experts Spectrasoul hold the launch party for their forthcoming LP 'The Mistress' at long-running party Break Thru on Saturday, with some of the genre's best DJs joining them to celebrate. Alongside the Shogun Audio duo will be no less than DJ Randall and Ivy Lab, with MCs Mantmast and Fozz joined by residents Blindside and The Skeptics

The Color Festival, The Rainbow Venues, Saturday, 2pm-12am, From £27.50
The self proclaimed 'happiest festival in the world' touches down in Brum on Saturday, giving you the chance to throw coloured paint powder all over yourself and your friends, while losing it to some stellar dance music acts. Regular chart troubler and D&B legend DJ Fresh headlines, joined by new-school garage specialist Shift K3Y, plus Tough Love, Just Kiddin, The Golden Boy and more. Make sure you're dressed in white!

So It Goes - The Pride Afterparty, The Nightingale, Saturday, 10pm-6am, £7.50-£12.50
With Pride happening this weekend, this after-party at The Nightingale in the heart of the Gay Village will be the place to be come nightfall. The party rolls on until 6am and a bunch of great DJs playing house, bass music and bassline until the early hours.

GLAS Day, TRMNL Night, LAB 11, Sunday, 2pm-2am, £15-£25
After well and truly smashing it with their last sold-out party, GLAS and TRMNL return to join forces for a 16-hour party on the terraces and dancefloors of LAB 11 with a massive line-up of 4/4 from the top drawer. Circo Loco's Davide Squillace and DJ W!ld top a bill that also features German Brigante, Low Steppa, Stuff and Cause & Affect.
