UK's largest gaming event announces return to Birmingham

This September, over 75,000 people attended the UK's biggest gaming event, held for the first time at the Birmingham NEC. Such was its success, the Eurogamer Expo (EGX) has already announced it will be returning to the National Exhibition Centre for September 22-25, 2016.

The 2016 is being touted as the biggest EGX yet, promising over 1,500 screens of gaming entertainment, a return of some the show's favourite features (such as cosplay, eSports competitions and, of course, the latest videogames), with more floor space than ever before.

Following feedback, the show will also be making a few tweaks to ensure that the 2016 goes smoothly, including optimising queues for the biggest games (or providing things to keep you amused while you wait), and a change to some of the pre-booked gaming activities.

Tickets for EGX 2016 will go on sale early next year so keep your eyes peeled on Twitter and Facebook for the latest news.
