The Rep and Chichester Festival Theatre have joined forces for this production starring Jason Donovan as Lionel Logue, and Raymond Coulthard as King George VI.
The acclaimed play which inspired the Oscar-winning film, tells the true story of King George VI's struggle to overcome his stammer and lead his country as the world prepares for the onslaught of war.
Following his brother's abdication from the throne, he is forced into the public eye as his successor. With the support of his wife Elizabeth (who would become the Queen Mother) and unlikely speech therapist Lionel, he begins an incredible journey, resulting in the iconic speech broadcast around the world in 1939.
