Allstonway After Dark Music Series
Allston has always had a knack for discovering local talent before everyone else catches on, and Allstonway After Dark fits right in. Once a month, the lawn at Allstonway fills with live music from some of Greater Boston's best local artists, turning a stretch of Western Avenue into the kind of laid-back neighborhood concert you'd wish happened every week. Bring a blanket, spread out on the grass and settle in as the sun goes down with a soundtrack curated by longtime Boston musician Tim Hall. The series only runs once a month through the summer, making each concert feel like a small reminder that Allston is still one of the city's most creative corners.
